The utility will function on any Microsoft Windows Operating system and will test the chosen system in order to determine if it is suitable to be used as a LabTutor Server.

Known Issues
Xeon Processors
When
using LabTutor Server Installation Advisor on Windows Server 2003 with
Xeon processor cores, the number of physical cores will be reported
incorrectly. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932370/ for details.
In this configuration, the CPU test of the LabTutor Server Installation Advisor produces a fail. Depending on your class size, we recommend a minimum of 2 to 4 physical cores. To find out whether your processor is suitable, please check the vendor's specifications.
