Windows 10: What you need to know

Windows 10 is almost here! Due for release by Microsoft on July 29 at midnight EST, the software upgrade will begin to roll out a new operating system that will ultimately unite platforms for Microsoft customers, including desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones. Here at ADInstruments, we have been working hard to ensure that our software is going to be compatible.

If you use LabChart, LabTutor or Lt, here is what you need to know before you download the latest version of Windows.

LabChart

LabChart 8.0.9 is not compatible with Windows 10. Users may experience issues with overall stability. A NEW version LabChart 8.0.10 is compatible and available now. You can read more about LabChart 8.0.10 and download it here .

LabTutor 

LabTutor is generally compatible with the latest version of Internet Explorer on Windows 10. LabTutor is not compatible with Microsoft Edge. 

  • Dragging and dropping to tables is not yet supported in Windows 10.

LabTutor Online is compatible with the latest versions of Chrome, Internet Explorer and Firefox on Windows 10. LabTutor Online does not support Microsoft Edge: Media panels may fail to load.

  • Minor rendering issues may be experienced in Internet Explorer when the user edits text or multi-choice questions.

LabTutor Server is compatible with Windows 10.

LabAuthor is compatible with Windows 10.

kuraCloud and Lt

kuraCloud and Lt are compatible with the latest versions of Chrome, Internet Explorer and Firefox on Windows 10. They do not yet support Microsoft Edge but will in a future release.
