Green Manufacturing Practices
ADInstruments values the environment and has put processes in to meet the EU RoHS and WEEE directives. The European Parliament's Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive aims to restrict the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, and contribute to the protection of human health and the environment.Although ADInstruments products are in the category sections excluded under the RoHS directive, we place high value on its principles. In conjunction with our product component suppliers, we are actively seeking to comply with the RoHS and WEEE directives to ensure that our products are beneficial to our employees, customers and the environment.
Reducing Reliance on Paper
Our current strategy is nothing short of a major reduction of paper collateral for external and internal corporate communication. Providing digital alternatives moves us forward as a technology company and a responsible community member. Additionally, environmentally friendly suppliers will be given preference to traditional printers.
Product Quality and Safety
Developing technology for science comes with many challenges. One unwavering commitment that we instilled in product design was to meet and exceed benchmark quality and safety standards. By conforming to and independently testing against internationally recognized safety standards including, ISO, IEC, CE and CSA/UL, we take equipment safety at the lab bench very seriously. In addition, all ADInstruments products are manufactured under ISO 9001:2008 Quality System.
