ADInstruments new LabChart software module PV Loop speeds up the analysis of hemodynamic and cardiovascular compliance data

ADInstruments’ new LabChart software module, PV Loop, speeds up the analysis of hemodynamic and cardiovascular compliance data.  The PV Loop module for LabChart 7.1 provides a quick and simple way to display and analyze pressure volume loops for hemodynamic research in animals of all sizes.  Analyses can be conducted during sampling or on pre-recorded data.

The module calculates a variety of hemodynamic parameters on a loop-by-loop basis, including pressure-volume area, stroke work, and cardiac output. A variety of plots for displaying linear regression information are available, and the specially designed PV Loop Analysis Manager allows researchers to save the settings of data analyses for future reference.  Calibration options are provided to convert data to absolute volumes and correct for parallel conductance.

The PV Loop module integrates seamlessly with cardiovascular research equipment by Millar Instruments, including pressure-volume Mikro-Tip® Catheters and the MPVS Ultra.
