Innovation in Animal Telemetry Monitoring: Single Transmitter Measures SNA, BP and Temperature
ADInstruments Inc. and business partner Telemetry Research have introduced telemetry systems for the measurement of blood pressure, temperature and biopotentials from small and large animals. The systems feature the first commercially available SNA/BP/Temperature transmitter.
Systems Acquire a Broad Range of Signals
The new systems acquire a number of signal combinations. In addition to blood pressure, ECG and temperature, Telemetry Research transmitters can also record high-frequency Sympathetic Nerve Activity. Data is transmitted to a PowerLab data acquisition system for display and analysis.Record Signals 24/7 or Schedule Recordings
The small animal transmitters can be recharged within the animal during recording, allowing users to record for as long as required. Transmitters can be scheduled to switch on and off without user intervention.Record in a Flexible Environment
Telemetry Research receivers have a recording range of up to five meters and receive signals from multiple transmitters with independent frequencies. This allows the monitoring of multiple animals in one housing area. No shielding is required.Record and Analyze Data in Real Time
PowerLab data acquisition systems can record up to 16 channels of raw data and display an additional 16 calculation channels in real time. Specialized analysis and automated extraction of parameters from ECG, Pressure, SNA and other signals can be performed online or offline using ADInstruments powerful LabChart Pro software.27 August 2008
