PowerLab can be used in conjunction with organ bath chambers to perform electrical stimulation and pharmacological studies of various gastrointestinal structures.
A series of experiments are provided on the Experiments section that describe pharmacological manipulation and/or electrical stimulation of guinea pig ileum and rabbit jejunum.
For these types of experiments, we have available a Single Chamber Organ Bath; however, 2, 4 and 8 chamber organ baths are also available. Force Transducers connect to PowerLab using either single or multiple channel Bridge Amplifiers. Specifically configured Simulating Electrodes are also available for use with our Organ Baths. Please contact your nearest ADInstruments representative for further information regarding a complete organ bath system. |
