PowerLab systems can be easily configured to assess postural stability.
Body sway is an indicator of postural stability. A 'force plate' that detects sway can be easily constructed using the Wide Range Force Transducers, connected to Bridge Amps or Bridge Pods. A PowerLab data acquisition system with LabChart software can then be used to record the resultant data.
