 This introduces students to the principles
of acids, bases and buffers by performing titration analysis. Students
will perform acid-base titrations and monitor them with using a
pH meter. In the experiment students will plot titration curves
from their data, determine the equivalence point of the titration,
and determine the pKa values of an amino acid. This experiment
is ideal for students conducting introductory chemistry, biochemistry
and biology classes.
