The International Society for Heart Research convenes their World Congress just once every three years; all of the sections of the ISHR (Australasian, Chinese, European, Indian, Japanese, Latin American, and North American) contribute to this congress, insuring its truly international nature.

ADInstruments and the Department of Neurobiology and Behavior at Cornell University will co-host a hands-on summer workshop for life science instructors seeking to expand their curriculum reach in the neurosciences. The first 2.5 days will be based on topics focusing on the use of invertebrates in undergraduate physiology and neuroscience lab courses. The second 2.5 days will focus on using modern neurogenetic tools in the fruit fly, Drosophila melanogaster. Participants will each make a suction electrode and an LED stimulation system to take home with them.

 The Scheduler Extension for LabChart allows the scheduling of recordings across one or more LabChart data files. A schedule may consist of an initial delay, followed by repeated recording cycles, until a specified end time. Scheduler can also be used with external scheduling devices, such as the TR Scheduler Pod.
