NEW: Adapters for Interfacing DSI Telemetry Transmitters with PowerLab

Researchers can now acquire and analyze small animal signals recorded by DSI telemetry equipment with PowerLab data acquisition and analysis systems. The new adapters convert small animal digital telemetry signals from DSI transmitters to AC coupled analog voltage signals. The adapters interface the analog signal with PowerLab systems through a BNC connection.

Using the adapters, data can be collected simultaneously as:
  • a digital signal by the DSI Data Exhange Matrix unit with Dataquest ART software
  • an AC Coupled Analog Voltage signal by PowerLab data acquisition systems with LabChart (or Chart) software

Each adapter must be interfaced with a DSI new generation receiver – either an RPC-1 (plastic cage receiver) or RMC-1 (metal cage receiver).

Ambient Pressure Reference (Model APR-1)
The APR-1 unit provides the atmospheric pressure signal. This allows the R11CPA to produce a gauge pressure signal from an absolute pressure signal.
