The ML155 Stimulator HC connects to PowerLab data acquisition systems to provide constant current electrical pulses with adjustable pulse amplitude, width and frequency. The stimulation parameters are controlled by LabChart, Scope or LabTutor software.
High Current for In Vitro Use
The Stimulator HC with a PowerLab data acquisition system can generate a pulse or series of pulses for general-purpose stimulation with currents up to 100 mA. It is ideal for in vitro studies of nerve, muscle or tissue samples, with applications including:
Complete Compatibility with PowerLab, LabChart and Scope The Stimulator HC easily integrates with PowerLab data acquisition systems. The stimulator connects to a PowerLab unit’s analog output, and stimulation parameters are easily controlled using the Stimulator menu commands in both LabChart and Scope software.
Ideal for LabTutor Pharmacology Experiments The Pharmacology Experiment Collection for LabTutor features five isolated tissue experiments that introduce students to pharmacological theory, technology and laboratory protocols. The Stimulator HC can be used in the Drugs Affecting the Chick Biventer Cervicis and Drugs Affecting the Stimulated Ileum experiments.
LabTutor automatically configures the Stimulator HC with the correct settings for the specific experiment, and students can adjust the amplitude using the simple stimulator panel that appears on screen. For additional safety in student labs, the stimulator’s front panel also features an on/off switch.
