PowerLab Workshop in Tehran, Iran

ADInstruments along with our local distributor (EqlimDanesh Co. Ltd) are conducting a PowerLab workshop series in Tehran, Iran, on the 29th and 30th of December, 2008. Life science researchers and educators will gain valuable “hands-on” experience with PowerLab data acquisition systems. Extensive training and feedback opportunities will be provided by our international support staff on various hardware and software, including the revolutionary new teaching tool: LabTutor.


The “ADInstruments: PowerLab in Research and Education and Advanced Techniques in Bio-Sciences” workshop will be held at the Shaheed Beheshti Medical Science University, Tehran, and is an open to all interested participants.

Attendees will gain experience using the LabTutor and LabChart programs, as well as seeing a demonstration of common bio-potential signals such as ECG and EEG. Participants will obtain hands-on experience of setting up both the hardware and software for recording and analyzing signals with further discussions regarding topics such as isolated tissue and organ preparations, blood pressure (invasive and non-invasive), Wireless telemetry systems, teaching kits and software modules such as dose response and ECG modules.
