New Spirometry and Audio Output Extensions for LabChart 6 for Windows

We are currently updating our Extensions to match LabChart 6's improved functionality and performance. Both the Spirometry and Audio Output Extensions have been updated with new features, and are compatible with LabChart 6.

Extensions are software add-ons that allow you to customize LabChart software for your specific applications. Each Extension provides additional acquisition and analysis tools, and is available as a free download for registered LabChart users.

Spirometry v2.1 for Windows

Spirometry is one of the most popular Extensions for Chart software. Spirometry v2.1 for LabChart 6 has new features including:

Minute Ventilation and Tidal Flow Channel Calculations
Reset option for the Spirometry Volume Channel Calculation

Above: A respiratory flow recording analyzed using the Spirometry Extension. Channel 3 is using the volume reset option which eliminates the signal drift observed in Channel 2. Channel 4 displays the Minute Ventilation Channel Calculation.

Audio Output v2.0 for Windows

Audio Output for LabChart 6 is replacing the Play Sound Extension for Chart 5. As well as a new name, Audio Output v2.0 now features:

Online sound playback, so data can be played as sound as it is sampled
Amplitude to frequency conversion, allowing the frequency of the audio output to vary depending on the amplitude of the original signal
