Introducing LabChart Reader: Make Sharing, Viewing and Analyzing LabChart Data Easier |

Over the last 20 years, the life science community has inspired the development of PowerLab data acquisition systems, and supported the growth of ADInstruments. To thank you all, we are releasing LabChart Reader, a free application program that anyone can download and use to view and analyze LabChart (and Chart) data files.
LabChart Reader provides a selection of the analysis and display functions found in the standard version of LabChart, including access to the Data Pad, the Zoom View, and performing channel calculations and cyclic measurements.
LabChart Reader Applications
Research:
- Use data files in presentations using any computer
- Support submissions to publishers with data files
- Discuss and analyze data files with researchers in other labs, no matter what their equipment setup
- Share your recordings with the life science community by uploading data files to the internet

Teaching:
- Present research data in the laboratory class and lecture hall
- Assign students data analysis tasks outside of lab time
- Upload data files onto course websites and discussion groups for analysis
- Make research data available for student analysis and learning

LabChart, LabChart Reader and LabChart Pro: What’s Right For You?
LabChart – LabChart can acquire, record and analyze data and used with PowerLab data acquisition hardware. LabChart users can download Extensions free of charge and import and export data from a range of software applications. LabChart is supplied with most PowerLab systems (except the PowerLab 15T), or can be purchased separately.
LabChart Reader – LabChart Reader can open and analyze LabChart or Chart data files. There are limitations to its functions in particular it cannot be used to record or save data. It is available as a free download.
LabChart Pro – The LabChart Pro software package includes LabChart, plus a suite of advanced analysis modules. Module functions include arterial and ventricular blood pressure, ECG, peaks, dose response and extracellular spike analysis. LabChart Pro can be supplied as part of your PowerLab system. It can also be purchased separately, or as an upgrade from LabChart. LabChart Pro also comes with free software upgrades for five years.
