ADInstruments Corporate Giving Initiative for Life Science

ADInstruments is committed to helping the academia and private sector life science community through our Corporate Giving program. A variety of grants in the form of equipment, training, sponsorship and prizes will be offered on a regular basis to support students, young researchers and organizations including high schools, universities and research groups.

ADInstruments has been revolutionizing life science data acquisition for research and teaching for more than twenty years. Over the years, we have developed new solutions for research and education across many scientific applications including neurophysiology, cardiovascular physiology, pharmacology and more. We have also been supporting the scientific community through as many different ways as possible.

“Our corporate giving program is our way of helping and giving something back to the life science community. We hope that by contributing to the community we are able to assist researchers, students or organizations and also help promote interest in the life sciences.” Graham Milliken, CEO of ADInstruments

ADInstruments grants include the donation of the PowerLab data acquisition hardware and LabChart Pro and LabTutor software to institutions where limited funding is available and where such equipment will make a difference to the learning experience.

"We had a great summer program this year and wanted to thank you once again for allowing us to borrow equipment for our program. The students were amazed to see the effect of nerve stimulation on muscle force output and gained an appreciation for the coordination of neuromuscular activity. The competitor inside each of them enjoyed testing maximal handgrip strength and testing strength differences between the right and left sides, clearly illustrating their own strength dominance.” Jill M. Slade, PhD Assistant Professor - Radiology Michigan State University

ADInstruments grants will also provide support for scientific research and education events with a variety of sponsorship including travel grants, workshop/poster sessions, student prizes, special interest group workshops and guest speakers. We will also support annual fund-raising activity aimed at charities and/or research foundations to help raise awareness in specific scientific areas.

“Since 1992, Faculty for Undergraduate Neuroscience (FUN) Contributing Member-sponsored travel awards has supported the travel of 140 of the top undergraduate neuroscientists. ADInstruments has been one of the strongest and most consistent supporters of this program…Recently, ADInstruments has increased their commitment to science education by helping to develop an equipment loan program for FUN members. This program would provide a loan of ADInstruments equipment free of charge for two years to qualifying faculty members.” Christopher Korey, Ph.D. President, Faculty for Undergraduate Neuroscience Assistant Professor of Biology Program in Neuroscience College of Charleston
