ADInstruments Japan will be demonstrating PowerLab research and education systems and the meeting's main exhibition. Additionally, the Education Committee of the Physiological Society of Japan will conduct Model Class Sessions consisting of a student lab component that highlights the use of PowerLab Teaching Systems in the investigation of nerve and muscle function in humans.

In the lead up to the start of the 2011/2012 European academic year, ADInstruments is running a series of online training sessions for educators who want to improve their skills using LabAuthor software to edit and create LabTutor experiments.

ADInstruments held two successful PowerLab workshops in May, at the TONGJI Medical College (HUAZHONG University of Science and Technology) and The Fourth Military Medical University. Both workshops were well attended, with more than 130 professors and students from over 30 top Chinese universities present. Due to the attendees' positive reception, ADInstruments plans to hold similar training events at these prestigious institutes in the future.

A FREE hands-on instructor workshop (Colorado Springs, August 2011) for medical educators seeking information and training on new computer-based teaching methods. Attendees will receive step-by-step 'how-to' sessions and hands-on interaction with PowerLab and LabTutor over two days, and leave with the skills and knowledge to implement new teaching technology in any educational setting.

Our European training and support team will answer some of your most frequently asked questions about LabChart software during our upcoming WebEx training series. Training sessions will be held weekly on Tuesday at 10am (GMT), and will last approximately 20 minutes. All European PowerLab users are welcome to participate – register as quickly as possible as places are limited and will fill quickly.

PowerLab users across Europe are invited to take part in our LabChart training courses in Paris this November. We are running French-language LabChart Level I and II training courses for scientists new to computerised data acquisition and analysis. Additionally, we are also running an English-language LabChart Level III training course for experienced PowerLab users who want to learn more about LabChart’s advanced analysis and automation functions.
