ADInstruments Japan will be demonstrating PowerLab research and education systems and the meeting's main exhibition. Additionally, the Education Committee of the Physiological Society of Japan will conduct Model Class Sessions consisting of a student lab component that highlights the use of PowerLab Teaching Systems in the investigation of nerve and muscle function in humans.

This past September, the Anatomy and Physiology teaching community lost a great friend, Prof. Salvatore 'Sam' Drogo; long-time HAPS member, dedicated and innovative educator, and fervent advocate of inquiry-based learning. In a fitting tribute to an inspiring scientist, ADInstruments and HAPS have established the annual Sam Drogo Technology in the Classroom Award. This award honors an educator who demonstrates the innovative and effective use of technology to engage undergraduate students in human anatomy and physiology education.

ADInstruments held two successful PowerLab workshops in May, at the TONGJI Medical College (HUAZHONG University of Science and Technology) and The Fourth Military Medical University. Both workshops were well attended, with more than 130 professors and students from over 30 top Chinese universities present. Due to the attendees' positive reception, ADInstruments plans to hold similar training events at these prestigious institutes in the future.
