Since 2008, ADInstruments have been following the research of a group of Canadian researchers using PowerLab to study human physiology in space. Recent updates to this research have been published in The Journal of Applied Physiology, and the article has been featured as our Paper of the Week.

Dr. Terrence Sweeney, Professor in the Department of Biology at the University of Scranton, has been awarded the 2012 American Physiological Society's Macknight Progressive Educator Award for his development and use of a novel cardiovascular model.

Researchers in Montpellier are using PowerLab systems to simultaneously measure intracardiac electrical activity and surface ECGs in transgenic mice. The technique is being used to investigate the mechanisms underlying cardiac pathologies such as heart failure and arrhythmic diseases.
