Spectrum - with real time Power Spectral Density and Spectrogram Display

Spectrum facilitates the analysis of the component frequencies of a signal.  Spectrum is frequently used to distinguish component waveforms within a signal (such as Alpha, Beta, Delta, Theta and Gamma waveforms within an EEG) or isolate electrical noise components.

  • View the time variation of the frequency components during sampling (online mode) or after data acquisition (offline mode).
  • Analyze multiple channels of data.
  • Calculate and display continuous spectrum parameters on individual channels.
  • Extract spectrum parameters to Data Pad from selected data.
  • Display Power Spectral Density (PSD) and Spectrogram panes individually or together, then print or export them for presentation.

New Stimulator

The Stimulator controls the output of stimulus waveforms through PowerLab analog outputs.  This provides variable voltage output that can be used as a stimulator or to control external devices.

Customizing stimulator waveforms
  • Use preset waveforms or customize your own.
  • Access and modify waveform parameters whilst recording with the new stimulator panel.
  • Generate two independent waveforms using PowerLab 30 series analog outputs.

Scope View

By providing digital oscilloscope features, Scope View facilitates recording and viewing consecutive sweeps of data. These sweeps, or pages, can be overlaid and averaged.  There are now several powerful new features in Scope View that enhance analysis and display.

  • Create pages or sweeps from Comments in Chart View in addition to block mode and Event Mode.
  • Events in Blood Pressure and ECG Module can be used to generate pages in Scope View.
  • Use the new 3D Depth and Saturation Overlay feature in the Scope Overlay Options to help distinguish overlaid traces.
  • Alter the active trace and overlay trace colors.
  • Change the display background to black for better contrast.
