ADInstruments Japan will be demonstrating PowerLab research and education systems and the meeting's main exhibition. Additionally, the Education Committee of the Physiological Society of Japan will conduct Model Class Sessions consisting of a student lab component that highlights the use of PowerLab Teaching Systems in the investigation of nerve and muscle function in humans.

The latest release of LabChart Reader for Mac has several great new features to enhance the way you view and analyze your LabChart data. Scope View data is now able to be displayed and manipulated. An enhanced Data Pad is included, which allows the use of formulas and multiple sheets. Under the hood, LabChart Reader has been completely re-engineered to take advantage of new Mac OS X technologies. Native support for LabChart for Windows files and the ability to have multiple documents open concurrently are additional benefits of LabChart Reader’s code rewrite.

New LabTutor Medical Laboratories, included with the recent release of LabTutor 4.1 Suite, gives students the opportunity to connect physiology theory with clinical practice. As well as leading students through a series of data acquisition and analysis exercises, each of the Medical Laboratories brings real patients into the classroom through interview and consultation videos, clinical test results and expert diagnoses.

You can now add high quality video and audio files to your LabTutor experiments for an enhanced learning experience. The new multimedia capabilities in LabTutor Suite 4.1 have been used in the development of our new LabTutor Medical Laboratories, a collection of experiments that enrich learning by featuring real patient video interviews and actual patient data (supplied with LabTutor Suite 4.1). Other new features with this release add to the usability of LabTutor Server and LabTutor Online for both students and educators.

PowerLab users across Europe are invited to take part in our LabChart training courses in Paris this November. We are running French-language LabChart Level I and II training courses for scientists new to computerised data acquisition and analysis. Additionally, we are also running an English-language LabChart Level III training course for experienced PowerLab users who want to learn more about LabChart’s advanced analysis and automation functions.

ADInstruments Ltd is running six different software training courses in Nottingham on Wednesday May 5 and Thursday May 6. The courses will include LabChart Levels I, II and III, a specialized course for electrophysiologists and two different options for educators using LabAuthor to edit and create LabTutor experiments for their classrooms.

LabChart v7.1 data acquisition and analysis software for Windows has now been released. This update offers many new features including online Spectrum, new Stimulator, new Scope View page generation and display properties, Read Scope, Shortcut Key Manager and more.

LabChart 7.0.3 is now available for downloading. It is compatible with Windows 7, Vista, XP and Mac OS X (Snow Leopard or earlier). Updates for a number of LabChart Extensions and Blood Pressure Analysis Module (for Windows) are also available.
