New pharmacology kit for LabTutor and LabChart experiments

6th May 2011 - The PTK23-V Pharmacology Kit II is a cost effective and high-quality option for student laboratories conducting isolated tissue and pharmacological experiments. It can be used with both LabChart or LabTutor for performing passive and stimulated isolated muscle preparation studies including drug titrations, drug metabolism and kinetics, dose responses, washout experiments, muscle force, and stress measurements (for cardiac muscle, skeletal muscle, smooth muscle such as aortic rings, bladder or intestine). Thin, non-muscle tissue preparations can also be maintained with this kit.

Four NEW LabTutor Pharmacology Experiments Available Now

9th June 2009 - Four new experiments have been added to the LabTutor Pharmacology Experiment Collection. The new experiments allow students to observe the effects of various drugs on vascular smooth muscle, mammalian heart, airway smooth muscle and the rat isolated hind limb.

New LabTutor Pharmacology Experiments: English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese

14th November 2008 - Five new pharmacology experiments for LabTutor software and PowerLab data acquisition systems are now available. In each experiment students setup, measure and analyze the effects of pharmacological and electrical interventions on different tissues. Additionally, five LabTutor Pharmacology experiments have also been translated into both traditional and simplified Chinese. LabTutor users can download the new experiments free-of-charge.

PowerLab at Pharmacology and Toxicology Course: Michigan, USA

1st July 2008 - ADInstruments has been invited to contribute to the upcoming Integrative and Organ Systems Pharmacology Short Course at Michigan State University. The two week course (August 3-15) will provide 12 post-graduate students with intensive laboratory experience as they complete the preparations and experimental interventions for eight different laboratory exercises.

Pharmacology Experiments for LabTutor Software Now Available

9th January 2008 - ADInstruments has released a collection of five pharmacology experiments for LabTutor software. In each experiment students use an organ bath to examine the effect of different drugs and interventions on isolated tissue preparations.
