Dr. Terrence Sweeney, Professor in the Department of Biology at the University of Scranton, has been awarded the 2012 American Physiological Society's Macknight Progressive Educator Award for his development and use of a novel cardiovascular model.

ADInstruments Japan will be demonstrating PowerLab research and education systems and the meeting's main exhibition. Additionally, the Education Committee of the Physiological Society of Japan will conduct Model Class Sessions consisting of a student lab component that highlights the use of PowerLab Teaching Systems in the investigation of nerve and muscle function in humans.
