The DMT120CW Confocal Wire Myograph is specifically designed for obtaining highly resolved images of fluorescent dyes within living tissues (> 60 µm) using laser-scanning confocal microscopy (LSCM). In combination with LSCM, simultaneous measurements of isometric forces and intracellular Calcium or pH can be made. The DMT120CW includes a control unit with temperature control, built-in high-resolution force transducer and micrometer.

The control unit has analog output which can be connected directly to a PowerLab BNC input. The Confocal Wire Myograph System is also available and includes a PowerLab data acquisition system, LabChart Pro and DMT120CW. Optical components are NOT included.

When purchasing the DMT120CW the following items are included:

Myo- Interface Unit
  • Myograph connection cable with a temperature probe
  • Power cord (The shape of the AC plug varies by country; be sure that the plug has the right shape for your location)
Confocal Wire Myograph Unit
  • Calibration kit (including bridge , balance and 2 gram weight)
  • Chamber cover
  • Chamber volume 10 ml
Accessories
  • 1 roll of 40 μm stainless steel wire
  • 1 tube of high vacuum grease
  • 1 tube of grease for linear slides
  • 4 spare screws for mounting of jaws
  • 10 extra myograph window glasses
  • 2 Allen keys
  • 1 small screwdriver
