Overview:
The DMT720MO Tissue Bath System w/Touch Screen is a 4-channel myograph system, designed for measuring tension simultaneously in studies of up to four isolated larger blood vessels (>500 μm) and other large circular tissue preparations, such as trachea or gut mounted as larger ring preparations up to 10 mm.
Each single myograph unit is made of aluminium and has a round, centrally placed 8 ml stainless steel chamber for easy cleaning. The segment supports are pins positioned in the chamber where one side is attached to a built-in force transducer and the other side is attached to a micropositioner. The sensitive force transducers allow measurements of isometric muscle tension while micropositioners allow the attraumatic setting of optimal diameter.
The myograph interface has an analog output which can be connected directly a PowerLab BNC input and the signal recorded can be analyzed using LabChart and LabChart Pro. Each unit has individually controlled gas inflow and suction conduits. The system is automatically heated to a given set temperature. Controls for heating and connections for vacuum and gassing are on the myograph interface.
A set of DMT100094 Mounting Pins (200 μm) is also supplied.
Other types mounting pins are also available (for separate purchase) include:
- DMT100095 Mounting Pins (250 μm)
- DMT100096 Mounting Pins (300 μm)
- DMT100097 Mounting Pins (400 μm)
The DMT100192 Automated Buffer Filler System 2 (625FS), which can be additionally purchased, is an optional add-on to any 4-chanel myographs that provides an automatic, reliable and consistent way to replace buffer in the bath chambers.
Features:
- High-quality precision research instrument
- Tissue Bath System with four chambers allows studies of four preparations simultaneously
- Ideal for work requiring a higher through-put such as cumulative CRC's
- Pin mounts facilitate the use of larger ring segments from 500 μm up to 10 mm
- The segments are viable for more than 12 hours
- Built-in heating, electronic valves for simultaneous rapid removal of buffer, analogue and serial output of force
