The Muscle Strip Myograph System represents the first state-of-the-art 4-Channel myograph system for muscle strips of up 15 mm in length. The system is developed for simultaneous measurements of up to four isolated skeletal or other muscle preparations, mounted as a strip between clamp supports. The rectangular shape of the chambers in the 'muscle unit' can also be used for the study of larger strips of various organs including larger pieces of smooth muscle. Each chamber insert unit has individually controlled gas inflow and solution suction and is made of high quality stainless steel to simplify cleaning. The system is automatically heated to a given set temperature above ambient.
The DMT800MS comes with a built-in control unit with temperature control, built-in high-resolution force transducers and micrometers. The unit has analog outputs which can be connected directly to any
PowerLab BNC input for data acquisition and analysis using
LabChart software.
