Overview:
The pH Amp is a dual front-end suitable for use with pH, ion-selective and potentiometric redox electrodes. The unit is capable of measuring pH in the range 0-14, electrode voltages to 2.0 V and temperature in the range of 0 to 100 °C. It can also be used for temperature compensated measurements or as an independent temperature sensor. The unit is supplied with a RTD Temperature Probe.

Hardware:
ADInstruments signal conditioners only function with PowerLab data acquisition units and therefore are not suitable for use with other data acquisition systems.
Applications:
The pH Amp may be used with either combination electrodes or electrodes with a separate reference electrode. With a suitable electrode, parameters such as pH, redox potential, dissolved carbon dioxide and ammonia can be measured in aqueous solution. Ion selective electrodes are available for many ionic species including sodium, potassium, calcium, chloride, fluoride, nitrate and sulfide.For more information visit the pH & Ionic Concentrations application page.
