Overview:
The ML870B2 Langendorff System (Constant Pressure or Flow) is designed for the perfusion of small animal hearts such as mouse, rat and guinea pig. It is quick to set up and easy to use.

Data Acquisition and Analysis:
The PowerLab 8/30 is shipped with ADInstruments software (LabChart and Scope), associated manuals and cables. The ML870/P is also supplied with LabChart Pro software which includes all the ADInstruments LabChart Modules(excluding GLP). LabChart Modules provide application specific data acquisition, analysis and display features.

Features:
- A simpler, more effective solution for constant perfusate flow or pressure using a
Minipuls-3 Peristaltic Pump and ADInstrumentsSTH Pump Controller. - The STH Pump Controller is the key to the system as it eliminates the need for elevated reservoirs and allows continuous recording of flow rate without an expensive flowmeter.
- A robust and compact apparatus. The perfusate reservoir includes two thermostatically controlled compartments which allow different perfusate solutions to be changed easily.
- The versatile, 8-channel PowerLab 8/30 data acquisition system that can simultaneously monitor multiple parameters from your isolated heart experiments. These include left ventricular pressure, rate of ventricular pressure change, perfusate pressure and flow rate, developed pressure, cardiac electrical activity, temperature and others. The PowerLab analog output may also be used to control the frequency of pulses from an external stimulator.
- Two Physiological Pressure Transducers and Bridge Amplifiers connected to a PowerLab to record perfusate pressure and left ventricular pressure.
- The Animal Bio Amp to amplify the cardiac electrical activity
- The T-type Pod and T-type Implantable Thermocouple Probe (IT-18) for temperature monitoring
