Overview:

The ML870B4-V Langendorff System for Rats (Constant Pressure) provides all the glassware and acquisition hardware to collect and analyze data from the isolated rat heart using the constant pressure, non-recirculating method.

Available as a separate item, is a Pressure Gauge kit which provides the necessary items to calibrate the pressure transducer.

Mains Power (V) = 115 for 110-115V or 220 for 220-240V

Please Note:

• Countries with 115V power service, the Thermo circulator requires a 20 AMPS outlet.
• Countries with 220V power service, the Thermo circulator requires a 15 AMPS outlet.

Data Acquisition and Analysis:
The PowerLab 8/30 is shipped with ADInstruments software (LabChart and Scope), associated manuals and cables. The ML870/P is also supplied with LabChart Pro software which includes all the ADInstruments LabChart Modules (excluding GLP). LabChart Modules provide application specific data acquisition, analysis and display features.

In purchasing this system containing LabChart Pro entitles the purchaser to 5 years of FREE LabChart Pro software upgrades and updates. Purchasers are also entitled to any ADInstruments modules released during this 5 year period (excludes GLP software).

Features:

• A water-jacketed heart chamber and water-jacketed perfusion lines to ensure that the perfusate solution and the isolated heart are maintained at a constant temperature.
• An 8-channel PowerLab 8/30 is ideal for recording data from isolated heart experiments. Parameters that can be recorded and analyzed using LabChart and LabChart Pro software include LVP, dP/dt, Max and Min dP/dt, ECG, heart rate and many others.
