The MLE1054-V Finometer MIDI is a non-invasive continuous blood pressure measuring instrument used to monitor the brachial arterial pressure using a finger arterial pressure measurement.
The Finometer MIDI can be connected to a PowerLab (using a standard BNC cable) to record, display and analyze the brachial arterial pressure and beat to beat values of systolic, diastolic and mean pressure using
LabChart software. The optional
Blood Pressure Module for LabChart for Windows (also included as part of
LabChart Pro) can be used to automatically extract arterial pressure parameters online or offline. Cardiac output can also be calculated with the additional purchase of MLE1056
BeatScope 1.1 software.
As only one
PowerLab input channel is used to acquire the pressure waveform, other instruments, amplifiers and transducers/electrodes can be used to record additional signals on the remaining PowerLab inputs.
