The MLT1403 Rectal Temperature Probe for Rats is suitable for use in adult rats. The probe consists of a stainless steel shaft 25.4mm long, with a smooth ball tip of 3.2mm diameter.
It is supplied with a 2-pin T-type thermocouple plug suitable for connection to the ML312
T-type Pod. It is also supplied with the
Homeothermic Controller and Pad (for rats).
For smaller animals the MLT1404
Rectal Probe for Mice may be more suitable.
