The MLT1404 Rectal Temperature Probe for Mice is suitable for small animals such as mice, hamsters or rat pups. The probe consists of a thin stainless steel shaft 19mm long, with a smooth ball tip of 1.7mm diameter.
It is supplied with a 2-pin T-type thermocouple plug suitable for connection to the ML312
T-type Pod. It is also supplied with the
Homeothermic Controller and Pad (for mice).
For larger animals the MLT1403
Rectal Probe for Rats may be more suitable.
