Radnoti 4 Chamber Tissue-Organ Bath System

Overview:

This system combines the ADInstruments PowerLab data acquisition system, Bridge Amplifier, Isometric Transducers and LabChart software with a Radnoti Tissue-Organ Bath Apparatus. The Radnoti Tissue-Organ Bath Apparatus provides a controlled environment for conducting isolated tissue studies without the influence of in vivo systemic variables. This configuration also provides all the essential components for recording and analyzing data from isolated tissue experiments.

When ordering the PL3508B60/C-V please specify the following.
Tissue Chamber size (C) = 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 200 or 300 mL
Mains Power (V) = 115 for 110-115V or 220 for 220-240V

Note:

• Countries with 115V power service, the Thermal Circulator Pump requires a 20 AMPS outlet.
• Countries with 220V power service, the Thermal Circulator Pump requires a 15 AMPS outlet.

Data Acquisition and Analysis:
The PowerLab 8/35 is shipped with ADInstruments LabChart software that provides data recording integrity, display and analysis features. The research system is also supplied with LabChart Pro software, which includes all the ADInstruments LabChart Modules (excluding GLP Client and Server). LabChart Modules provide application specific data acquisition, analysis and display features. 

LabChart Pro also entitles the purchaser to 5 years of FREE LabChart Pro software upgrades and updates. Purchasers are also entitled to any LabChart Module released during this 5 year period (excludes GLP Client and Server).

Applications:

The Radnoti Organ Bath System can be used for experiments performed in a temperature controlled environment and perfused with an oxygenated physiological solution, which allows the study of evoked tissue responses to:

• Pharmacological drug/agents (Dose Response studies)
• Electrical stimulation
• Both pharmacological and electrical stimulation

Force (isometric) responses are recorded from isolated tissues or organs from various species (chick, toad, rabbit, rat, guinea-pig, etc.). These include:

• Muscle (Smooth or Skeletal)
• Arterial rings or strips
• Uterine tissue or Vas deferens
• Ileum
• Colon
• Atrial or Ventricle
• Diaphragm
