Telemetry Small Animal Foundation System

Overview:

The PL3516B109 Telemetry Small Animal Foundation System provide a world-leading system for wireless monitoring of physiological signals in small conscious animals > 200 g (especially in rats). Combining with suitable telemeters (purchased separately), a variety of signals can be recorded including intravascular or intralumen pressure signals, biopotentials such as ECG, EMG, EOG or EEG signals. All telemeters can also record body temperature.

A Telemetry SmartPad (TR180) receives data and provides charging to the telemeters, while Telemetry Configurator (TR190) is used to configure and control any telemeter and SmartPad before recording. Each telemeter sends data on a separate frequency, allowing animals to be housed in the same room without shielding. For multiple simultaneous recordings, an additional Telemetry SmartPad (TR180) is required for each additional telemeter. Up to 16 small animals can be recorded simultaneous depending on the telemeter type (requires additional hardware).

Data Acquisition and Analysis:
The PowerLab 16/35 is shipped with ADInstruments LabChart software that provides data recording integrity, display and analysis features. The research system is also supplied with LabChart Pro software, which includes all the ADInstruments LabChart Modules (excluding GLP Client and Server). LabChart Modules provide application specific data acquisition, analysis and display features. 

LabChart Pro also entitles the purchaser to 5 years of FREE LabChart Pro software upgrades and updates. Purchasers are also entitled to any LabChart Module released during this 5 year period (excludes GLP Client and Server).
