The IX2-700 is a dual-channel microelectrode preamplifier that is suitable for a wide range of applications including single and two-channel intracellular and ion-selective electrode amplification. The preamplifier features DC and pulsed current passing, filtering, electrode impedance testing and LCD voltage and current meter.
Two intracellular headstages (
7001/N) are included with the preamplifier. The preamplifier can also be used for extracellular recordings using an optional
Extracellular Headstage. A buzz button is included however the optional
Universal Buzz Box adds amplitude, duration and frequency features. The preamplifier integrates seamlessly via the BNC analog outputs with
PowerLab data acquisition systems.
