The Cardio Microphone accurately converts heart sounds (mechanical vibrations) into electrical signals via an electret (condenser) microphone device. It is suitable for recording heart sounds in the frequency range of 10 to 500 Hz and is useful for the fields of phonocardiography and ballistocardiography.
