Overview:
The PTK23-V Pharmacology Kit provides high quality yet economical option for student laboratories conducting isolated tissue and pharmacological experiments. Recommended for passive and stimulated muscle preparations studies including drug titrations, drug metabolism and kinetics, dose responses, washout experiments, muscle force, and stress measurements for cardiac muscle, skeletal muscle, smooth muscle such as aortic rings, bladder or intestine. Thin, non-muscle tissue preparations can also be maintained in these baths.
PTK23-V MUST be purchased in quantities of four or more kits.
Each kit includes:
- Radnoti Student Tissue Bath System
- 25 mL tissue organ bath chamber
- Standard glass tissue hook for strip samples
- Lower L support with upper triangle support (3-triangle supports)
- Transducer positoner
- Buffer aeration system allowing pH stabilization and proper gas tension (to be connected to the lab gas supply)
- Water bath heating system (includes a pump)
- MLTF050/ST Teaching Force Transducer (0-50g)

Applications:
The Pharmacology Kit is ideal for use in student laboratories conducting isolated tissue and pharmacological investigations and dose response experiments. It can be used for Guinea Pig Ileum, Chick Biventer Cervicis, and Rabbit Jejunum isolated tissue studies.
