MPVS Ultra Pressure-Volume Unit (large & small animals)

Overview:

The 880-0168 MPVS-Ultra Pressure-Volume Unit can be used in the measurement of  ventricular pressure and volume in small (mice, rats) through to large animals (dog, sheep, pig). The unit provides analog outputs via BNC connectors for direct connection to a PL3516/P PowerLab 16/35 (includes LabChart Pro Modules) for two pressure channels and seven selectable volume channels.

• Pressure-volume catheters (see below for suitable catheters)
• 880-0169 MPVS Ultra Cable pack (10ft) (required for connecting PV catheters to the MPVS Ultra Pressure-Volume Unit).  Includes:
  
  • 1x CEC-10E PV Extension Cable (10') for volume determination and
  • 1x PEC-10D Pressure Extension Cable (10') for pressure measurement.
• 880-0172 MPVS Ultra BNC Cable pack (required for connecting the MPVS Ultra Pressure-Volume Unit to the PowerLab) Includes:

This unit is recommended for measuring ventricular pressure-volume in hearts from mice and rats through to sheep and pigs using any of the following Pressure-Volume catheters.
