Overview:
The ML320/F Oximeter Pod (Finger Clip) is used for the non-invasive measurement of blood oxygen saturation (SpO2). The Oximeter Pod is a research device that is not intended for consumer use in the home.
The Oximeter Pod plugs directly into a PowerLab Pod Port or the ML305 Pod Expander. Using the MLT321 SpO2 Finger Clip, direct saturation readings in the range of 70 to 100% can be made without the need to perform any other scaling.
This ML320/F Oximeter Pod (Ear Clip) is supplied with the MLT321 SpO2 Finger Clip. For an Oximeter Pod with a finger clip sensor please order the ML320/E Oximeter Pod (Ear Clip) .
For a unit configured for measuring pulse oximetry in animals the ML325/AC Animal Oximeter Pod (Animal Clip), ML325/AW Animal Oximeter Pod (Wrap Sensor) or ML325/BS Animal Oximeter Pod (Base Sensor) are available.
Hardware:
ADInstruments signal conditioners only function with PowerLab data acquisition units and therefore are not suitable for use with other data acquisition systems.
Features:
- Semiconductor light emitting diodes in the Finger-Clip transducer
- Pre-calibrated to read in % SpO2. The scale is fixed at 100% SpO2
- An alarm which will sound if the value of the SpO2 drops below 70% or a pulse could not be detected.
Applications:
