Telemetry SNA Foundation System

The ML870B100 Telemetry SNA Foundation System contains the hardware and software (listed below) to record and analyze nerve activity signal from a single nerve such as renal sympathetic or vagus nerves. This transmitter simultaneously measures body temperature, from conscious animals.  The system includes the ML319 TR Scheduler Pod and LabChart Scheduler Extension, allowing the user to program recording periods as well as record and analyze nerve activity wirelessly from up to 12 individual transmitters/animals.

No transmitters are included in this system.  Customers will need to select the number, type and size (small or large animal) transmitter/s, and order these items separately. Silicone Elastomer (SP0128) for securing the electrodes to the nerve is purchased separately.

System Features & Benefits:

• Record stress free, nerve activity and body temperature data from multiple animals

• Scheduling features allow the user to configure receiver settings, for data recording from each transmitter, which:

• automates recording from multiple transmitters (up to 12 transmitters per system)

Recommended transmitters:

• MLE1020 Sympathetic Nerve/Temp Transmitter (Small Animal,TR46S) for animals >200 gm
• MLE1021 Sympathetic Nerve/Temp Transmitter (Large Animal,TR76S) for animals >1.5 kg

SNA Transmitter Features:

• Fully implantable
• Includes a high gain amplifier, analog to digital converter (8 kHz sampling frequency)
• Transmitter power-down in situ, via the receiver, to conserve and extend battery life
• Transmission/receiver range is up to 5 meters
• Each transmitter is programmed with one of 12 independent transmitting frequencies
• Battery easily recharged using the MLE1005WPC Wireless Power Charger Pad and Controller (TR801) therefore no battery refurbishment required.

Data Acquisition and Analysis:
The PowerLab 8/30 is shipped with ADInstruments software (LabChart and Scope), associated manuals and cables. The ML870/P is also supplied with LabChart Pro software which includes all the ADInstruments LabChart Modules (excluding GLP). LabChart Modules provide application specific data acquisition, analysis and display features.

 In purchasing this system containing LabChart Pro entitles the purchaser to 5 years of FREE LabChart Pro software upgrades and updates. Purchasers are also entitled to any ADInstruments modules released during this 5 year period (excludes GLP software).
