Multi-Chamber Myograph System

A research system for in vitro monitoring of smooth muscle function of up to four separate tissue segments of small arteries, veins and other tubular tissues, such as bronchi and ureter (tissue diameter > 60 µm). The system includes a PowerLab 8/30, LabChart, Scope and LabChart Pro software, a Multi-Chamber Myograph and a Quad BNC-BNC cable. The myograph features include stainless steel jaws, built-in control unit, four temperature-controlled chambers, needle valves for individual control of chamber oxygenation, ports for solution removal, micrometers and built-in high-resolution force transducers.

The DMT Normalization Module included in LabChart Pro software allows the user to easily and quickly determine and set pre-experimental conditions for the tissue. The module operates with LabChart Software on both Windows and Mac operating systems.

Data Acquisition and Analysis:
The PowerLab 8/30 is shipped with ADInstruments software (LabChart and Scope), associated manuals and cables. The ML870/P is also supplied with LabChart Pro software which includes all the ADInstruments LabChart Modules (excluding GLP). LabChart Modules provide application specific data acquisition, analysis and display features.

In purchasing this system containing LabChart Pro entitles the purchaser to 5 years of FREE LabChart Pro software upgrades and updates. Purchasers are also entitled to any ADInstruments modules released during this 5 year period (excludes GLP software).
