Telemetry Dual Biopotential Telemeter (TR50BB, Small)

Overview:

The MLE0050BB Telemetry Dual Biopotential Telemeter (TR50BB, Small) is suitable for measuring two biopotentials such as ECG, EEG, EOG, EMG and temperature, while completely implanted in small animals ≥200 g (ideally suited to rats). Once the telemeter is implanted in the animals abdomen, the recorded biopotential is transmitted to the MLE0180 Telemetry SmartPad (TR180) that also supports continuous charging.

The MLE0050BB Telemetry Dual Biopotential Telemeter (TR50BB, Small) requires the MLE0190 Telemetry Configurator (TR190) (purchased separately) for detecting and configuring the channel frequency of the telemeter. Each small animal telemeter sends its signal on one of 16 unique transmission channels. Therefore up to 16 small animal telemeters can be used within a 5 m range of one another, each using a separate transmission frequency.

No shielding is required between cages and close proximity of telemeters is possible. The transmission frequency is in the 2.4 GHz band. Each telemeter has ~4 hrs battery life while active and recording (not recharging by the Telemetry SmartPad), and takes a minimum of ~5 hrs to fully recharge (when placed back on the Telemetry SmartPad). Recording is still possible while recharging.

The MLE0050BB Telemetry Dual Biopotential Telemeter (TR50BB, Small) is compatible with the PL3516B109 Telemetry Small Animal Foundation System.
