The 2400A is a versatile low-noise preamplifier with high gain, active filters and an audio amplification and neutralized input capacitance which provides fast rise times. The instrument provides the ability to inject current and voltage through the microelectrode using several methods. This preamplifier is ideal for any extracellular recordings. The preamplifier integrates seamlessly via the BNC analog outputs with
PowerLab data acquisition systems.
The preamplifier is supplied with a
Capacitance Compensation Probe.
Extracellular recordings can be analyzed using the
Spike Histogram software module, which is available for Windows and Mac OS.
