Capacitance Compensation Probe

Overview:

This 2410A  probe provides an ultra low noise in the absence of capacitive loading effects. This is achieved by the probe headstage containing the first preamplifier gain block as well as all circuitry needed for the other microelectrode termination's.

This probe is used with the 2400A Extracellular Preamplifier.The headstage also provides capacitive neutralization via a high resolution neutralization control located on the probe. This feature allows for fine tuning signal rise times when microelectrode resistance's are greater than a few megaohms.
