Overview:
The DMT310A Single Wire Myograph features a single chamber (10ml), temperature control, ports for oxygenation and removal of solution. The unit is suitable for the examination of vessels/tubular structures of diameters greater than 60 µm. This model has a window in the base,which is ideal for use with a microscope for morphological and fluorescence measurements.
The DMT310A comes with a control unit, temperature control, built-in high-resolution force transducer and micrometer. The control unit has an analog output which can be connected directly to a PowerLab BNC input. The Single Wire Myograph System is also available and includes a PowerLab data acquisition system, LabChart Pro and DMT310A.
When purchasing the DMT310A the following items are included:

- Myograph connection cable with a temperature probe
- Power cord (The shape of the AC plug varies by country; be sure that the plug has the right shape for your location)
Single Wire Myograph Unit
- Calibration kit (including bridge, balance and 2 gram weight)

- 1 roll of 40 μm stainless steel wire
- 1 tube of high vacuum grease
- 1 tube of grease for linear slides

Warranty Exclusion
- DMT force and pressure transducers, either separately or part of myograph systems manufactured by DMT A/S, are disclaimed from any warranty

Applications:
The DMT310A Single Wire Myograph is ideal for physiological and pharmacological investigations using arterial microvessels and can be easily used on a variety of other tissue types such as small veins, renal arcuate arteries, bronchi and ureter. The technique, is suited to vessels with internal diameters > 60 μm.Parameters which can be measured include:
- Normalized internal diameter
- Measuring tissue wall thickness
- Isometric (force) responses to drugs (agonists/antagonists)
- Simultaneous measurements of isometric response and cell membrane potential
- Simultaneous measurements of isometric responses and ion concentrations inside the cell
- Analysis of tissue fixed under clearly defined conditions for microscope measurements
