Overview:
The DMT510A Auto Dual Wire Myograph is suitable for simultaneous testing of two vessels/tubular structures (> 60 µm) exposed to identical drug concentrations. The chamber (10ml) can also be divided for separate drug tests at the same time. A window in the base of the chamber provides access for morphological fluorescence measurements.
This unit features automated control of the micropositioners and the ability to automate and determine passive length-tension relationships of the vessels.
The DMT510A comes with a control unit, temperature control, built-in high-resolution force transducer and micrometer. The control unit has analog outputs which can be connected directly to a PowerLab BNC inputs. The Auto Dual Wire Myograph System is also available and includes a PowerLab data acquisition system, LabChart Pro and DMT510A.

Warranty Exclusion
- DMT force and pressure transducers, either separately or part of myograph systems manufactured by DMT A/S, are disclaimed from any warranty

Applications:
The DMT510A Auto Dual Wire Myograph is ideal for simultaneously testing two arterial microvessels, or a variety of other tissue types such as small veins, renal arcuate arteries, bronchi and ureter. The technique, is suited to vessels with internal diameters > 60 μm.Parameters which can be measured include:
- Normalized internal diameter
- Measuring tissue wall thickness
- Isometric (force) responses to drugs (agonists/antagonists)
- Simultaneous measurements of isometric response and cell membrane potential
- Simultaneous measurements of isometric responses and ion concentrations inside the cell
- Analysis of tissue fixed under clearly defined conditions for microscope measurements
