Single Channel Intracellular Preamplifier (IX1/115)

Overview:

The IX1 is a single-channel microelectrode preamplifier. It is suitable for a wide variety of applications including intracellular and extracellular recording. The preamplifier features a small-box headstage with a choice of five current ranges and a buzz with independent amplitude control to facilitate cell penetration. The optional Universal Buzz Box adds amplitude, duration and frequency features. A single intracellular headstage (7001/N) is included with the preamplifier. The preamplifier can also be used for extracellular recordings using the optional Extracellular Headstage. The preamplifier integrates seamlessly via the BNC analog outputs with PowerLab data acquisition systems. The unit is supplied with a wall mount power supply (115V AC only).  This unit requires the PS-1 power supply for 220V operation (purchased separately).
