The ML1001 Electronic Stimulator is designed to provide electrical stimulation in physiological and pharmacological research experiments. The Electronic Stimulator provides options for single pulse, paired pulse, pulse train and repeat pulse operation. Biphasic stimuli are also supported.  The stimulator is equipped with a booster amplifier to allow field stimulation with a maximum output of 50V. Input terminals also allow signal mixing and modulation with an external signal.

Features:
  • Provides stimulation options including:
    • Train stimulation - single pulse, pair pulse and train pulse
    • Biphasic pulse stimulation
    • Field stimulation with a maximum output of ±50 V and 400 mA (built-in booster amplifier) with any stimulation waveform
  • Generates mixed and modulated stimulus waves when combined with an external signal
  • Fine adjustment of output voltage up to 10 V
  • USB communication to PC
  • Output terminal for connection with the ML1101 Stimulus Isolator that:
    • Provides constant voltage or constant current output
    • Provides stimulus of positive or negative polarity
    • Provides excellent input and output linearity
    • Features a built-in over current alarm
    • Displays the amount of power that goes through the isolator
Applications requiring a single stimulation source:
  • Neurophysiology
    • Patch clamping
    • Extracellular recording
    • Nerve fiber – action potentials
  • Muscle and isolated myocyte studies
    • Skeletal Muscle
    • Smooth Muscle
    • Cardiac Muscle
