Overview:
The ML11110 Panlab Single Chamber Organ Bath is ideal for student classroom use. The ML1110 is a modular perspex organ bath with a 25 mL tissue chamber, three-way stopcock for physiological solution exchange and a fine needle valve for gas regulation. Tissue and transducer holders, micropositioner and mounting stand are supplied.
ADInstruments can supply a suitable isometric or isotonic Force Transducer. To maintain a constant temperature in the tissue chamber a Thermoregulated Water Pump is available which can be used with up to four of the Single Chamber Organ Baths in series (no more than 2m distance). A SP3600 O-Ring Kit is also available for purchase separately.

Applications:
Panlab Organ Baths are used for in vitro dose response experiments, used extensively to investigate the physiology and pharmacology of tissue preparations from various species (chick, toad, rabbit, rat, guinea-pig, etc.) Some of the tissues that may be studied with an organ bath system include:Smooth Muscle:
- Vascular, e.g. arterial/aortic rings

- Vas Deferens (secretory duct of the testicle)
