Dual Bio Amp

Dual Bio Amp

Overview:

The FE135 Dual Bio Amp consists of two galvanically isolated, high-performance differential amplifiers optimized for the measurement of a wide variety of biological signals, with extended sensitivity. In conjunction with a PowerLab and LabChart, LabChart or Scope software a wide range of appropriate filters are available. The Dual Bio Amp is equipped with an audio output jack for headphones or powered speakers. The Dual Bio Amp is certified and approved for human connection. The unit is supplied with an MLA2540 5 Lead Shielded Bio Amp Cable and MLA2505 Shielded Lead Wires (5 snap-on)

Accessories suitable for use with the Dual Bio Amp include:
MLA700 Reusable ECG Electrodes
MLA710 Chest ECG Electrode
MLAWBT9 EEG Flat Electrodes
MLA0114/D ECG Lead Switch Box

Hardware:
ADInstruments signal conditioners only function with PowerLab data acquisition units and therefore are not suitable for use with other data acquisition systems.

Features:

  • Full electrical isolation from power-line (mains) circuitry to guarantee subject safety
  • Low-noise, high-gain differential amplifier specifically designed for biological signal measurements
  • Software-controlled low-pass, high-pass and notch filters to remove unwanted signal frequencies for particular uses
  • Audio output for use with EMG signals and similar

Applications:

This Bio Amp can be used for recording EEG, ECG, EMG, EOG, ERG, sensory nerve action potentials (SNAP), visual evoked response (VER), cortical evoked potentials, and slow wave (smooth muscle) studies. The Bio Amp is certified and approved for human connection.
