Telemetry ECG/Biopotential Foundation System

The ML870B99 Telemetry ECG/Biopotential Foundation System contains the hardware and software (listed below) to record and analyze one biopotential signal such as ECG EMG, EOG or EEG, as well as body temperature, from conscious animals.  The system includes the ML319 TR Scheduler Pod and LabChart Scheduler Extension, allowing the user to program recording periods as well as record data from up to 12 individual transmitters/animals.

No transmitters are included in this system.  Customers will need to select the number, type and size (small or large animal) of transmitter/s, and order these items separately.

System Features & Benefits:

• Record stress free, biopotential and temperature data from multiple animals

• No special cages or barriers to record from multiple animals required as transmitters are programmed with independent transmission frequencies

• Scheduling features allow the user to configure receiver settings, for data recording from each transmitter, which:

• reduces file size
• allows programming of recording times from seconds, minutes, hours, days or weeks
• extends the recording life of the rechargeable battery
• automates recording from multiple transmitters (up to 12 transmitters per system)

• Fast online or offline ECG analysis using the LabChart ECG Analysis Module

Recommended  Transmitters:

• MLE1010 Biopotential/Temp Transmitter (Small Animal,TR40B) for animals > 200 gm

• MLE1011 Biopotential/Temp Transmitter (Large Animal,TR70B) for animals > 1.5 kg
  

Biopotential Transmitter Features:

• Fully implantable
• Includes a high gain amplifier, analog to digital converter (2 kHz sampling frequency)
• Transmitter power-down in situ, via the receiver, to conserve and extend battery life
• Transmission/receiver range is up to 5 meters
• Each transmitter is programmed with one of 12 independent transmitting frequencies
• Transmitter battery is easily recharged using the MLE1005WPC Wireless Power Charger Pad and Controller (TR801) therefore no battery refurbishment required.

Data Acquisition and Analysis:
The PowerLab 8/30 is shipped with ADInstruments software (LabChart and Scope), associated manuals and cables. The ML870/P is also supplied with LabChart Pro software which includes all the ADInstruments LabChart Modules (excluding GLP). LabChart Modules provide application specific data acquisition, analysis and display features.
